A man has died after becoming wedged between rocks at the Kiama Blowhole on the NSW South Coast.
Believed to be a scuba diver, the man became stuck among rocks at the base of the popular tourist attraction. His three diving companions were injured and had to be rescued.
NSW Ambulance said the four were scuba diving from Bushrangers Bay, north of Kiama, on Monday when they became caught in an ocean rip.
A 33-year-old diver panicked and became lodged between rocks, NSW Ambulance said.
He went into cardiac arrest and was pulled from the water about 12.30pm.
Paramedics confirmed him dead at the scene.
